National Testing Service was established as a project in 2002, which was part of the National Education Policy of the Govt. of Pakistan. National Testing Service offers two categories of assessments: national and international tests. National Testing Service serves TOEIC, Community, Educator Licensure Assessments, Higher Education Community, English Teachers, and Employers of different organizations.

NTS Tests Type

NTS has developed the following tests.

  • National Aptitude Test (NAT-I & II) for undergraduate programs
  • Graduate Assessment Test-General (GAT-General)
  • Graduate Assessment Test-Subject (GAT-Subject)
  • Law Graduate Assessment Test (LAW-GAT)
  • National Teachers Database Program (NTDP)

National Aptitude Test

National Aptitude Test (NAT) is for admissions in NTS™ associated universities / DAIs (degree awarding institutes). The candidates will appear in a single test only and will stand eligible for admission to all universities in the respective subject group. The result of the NAT test will be valid for 1 year only. The NAT test will be conducted in 2 categories: Category 1 consists of six types of papers for candidates having 12 years of education. Category 2 consists of five types of papers for candidates having 14 years of education. Graduate Assessment Test-General

Graduate Assessment Test GAT-GENERAL is for admissions in MS / M.Phil. programs. The test result will remain valid for “TWO YEARS” for admissions.  Candidates with a minimum of sixteen years of education are eligible to appear in the test. Candidates intending to improve their previous GAT scores can also apply. GAT test is conducted in 4 categories Category A, Category B, Category C, and Category D.

Graduate Assessment Test-Subject

The Graduate Assessment Test GAT-SUBJECT is for Ph.D. programs. The same test may be used for recruitment of graduates. The test result will remain valid for “TWO YEARS” for admissions. Candidates with a minimum of eighteen (18) years of education are eligible to appear in the test. Candidates intending to improve their previous GAT scores can also apply. The candidates will have to meet other specified criteria of the universities.

National Testing Service Other Tests

NTS conducts other tests also like the Law Graduate Assessment Test (LAW-GAT), the National Teachers Database Program (NTDP), the Medical Representatives Certification Program (MRCP), customized tests, TOEIC-L&RTOEIC-S&W, TOEIC Bridge, WorkFORCE® Assessment for Job Fit, WorkFORCE® Assessment for Career Development.

WorkFORCE® Training for Career Development, WorkFORCE® Assessment for Cognitive Ability, WorkFORCE® Training for Cognitive Ability, WorkFORCE® Assessment for Career Interest, and TFI. All necessary information regarding these tests is available on the official website of NTS.

Application Procedure for NTS National Testing Service Vacancies

The candidate is required to register to appear in the respective test as scheduled by NTS™. The registration process is given below: Register (one time only) to the NTS online Registration Portal https://portal.nts.org.pk/. Upload a recent photograph in the NTS online Registration Portal. -Apply for the latest NAT test in the list of projects announced in the NTS online Registration Portal.

Download the NAT bank deposit slip from the NTS online Registration Portal https://portal.nts.org.pk/ (The Bank deposit slip is available on the NTS online Registration Portal only). NTS Roll Number Slip

Candidates can get Roll Number slips by following this procedure:

  • Visit the official website of the National Testing Service and head over to the “List of Candidates Section” in the Home tab.
  • Choose your respective test Enter your CNIC Number and the captcha code and click on the “Search” button.
  • Your Roll Number slip will be on the screen.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall without a roll number slip.

NTS Answer Keys

Answer Keys are the correct answer sheets of tests conducted by NTS. Candidates can verify their chosen answers in the test by cross-checking the Answer Keys uploaded on the official website of NTS. Candidates must visit the “Results” section and click on the respective test. Choose the book Color: Green, Pink, White, or Yellow according to your Test book. Each book color has a different pattern of questions and answers.

How To Check NTS Results

To view the results of conducted tests, Candidates have to visit the NTS website and choose their respective test. Sign up on the candidate portal by entering the “Login-ID” and Password. The result of the given test will be available on the candidate portal. Download the result by clicking on the download button.
